What's with the pauses/replays after every sack or INT?

Does EA even play this game? It's been going on since the beginning this year, but playing the CPU every time I get a sack or a pick, the game just grinds to a halt so I can look at my players walking around after the play, then shows a replay of the sack or INT. Before it allows me to call my next defensive play.

I'm not trying to sit through this shit. I want to move on to the next play. It's never been like this in any previous Madden so it's clearly something wrong with the programming (as usual)

im pretty sure they purposely prolong games this year to manipulate engagement times. excessive celebrations, cut scenes, and clock not running.

It drives me crazy. It's probably only a few seconds but it seems like hours.
