I've started to notice that in some nickel formations, if you leave your CB4 and backup SS or FS positions empty, some of your offensive players will be put on the field. For example, I was playing h2h seasons earlier and noticed that my 99 Pat Freiermuth was on the field at free safety. I've experienced this earlier in the year as well with Justin Jefferson subbing in at cornerback. Not that it's a bad thing having a 6'5 251 lb safety, but is anyone else having this happen?

Yeah it happens in plays like Man 3 Deep and Prevent when it requires 4 CBs and you don’t have a CB4, so your best player from offense comes in.

Yeah, i always have enough backups so i dont have it happen but yeah ive seen people have randy moss at corner and stuff (and i dont mean his backyard ballers item)
