How do i activate some of these Xfactors?

I'm mainly talking about the 1ap xfactors. I have RB apprentice on CMC and presnap when I look at the xfactors/abilities I have on the field it doesn't give me any objectives to activate the xfactor,for instance like rush 10+ yards 3 times or more or something like that. Do the 1ap xfactors charge up or activate on their own? It seems alot of former abilities are now 1ap  xfactors like short in elite,RB apprentice or slot apprentice...etc

Most of them do have requirements and they are treated as xfactors(will deactivate after xx happens) but this one in particular does not have any requirements and its blank on this site too. I am guessin  yet another glitch on EAs behalf.
