Am I trippin or do you not get to use your own playbook in challenges?

Yeah it's weird. I just did a solo battle and still not the right playbook.

What playbook do you use? Maybe it’s glitched. Happened with a book last year.

also watch if you use generate best lineup, sometimes it switches your book.

My assumption is that it gives you your base team's playbook from the main menu. I chose bears and have gotten that playbook in all challenges. Last year it was random though, every month or so for all challenges the playbook would change to a new random team.

Same. Every few games I lose a few favorited plays… I started at 130+ and now under 100 lol
