That's it, earn him on mobile.
Log in with same EA account on your console, after linking mobile.
Receive Micah Parsons 83 OVR BND.

Playbooks definitely not the same on new gen

I'm not sure, full retail release isn't until uhhh Friday?
Maybe try relinking your EA account? I really have no idea. I'm still waiting on the Ultimate Alumni freebie, I only got the MUT Tips, but missing the actual cards.
I still can't believe they left the fg block glitch in 23 for old gen. Thats when I knew i had to move on. Old gen gameplay was great but new gen offers more advanced ways to play like the precision passing stuff. Is the fg block glitch still in madden 25 for old gen?
peatrick said:Come to the Dark side, where linebackers lurk and defenses such as 3-4 Odd are legit. We're all learning this new game together, just gotta rip that bandaid off. Regardless, hope you're enjoying the new year and building your squad.
There's basically no defense as far as i can tell in M25. Trying to adjust to these new QB Release types. I haven't even learned the names yet, but i'm checking out Jordan Love and Aaron Rodgers at the moment, which apparently have the: Three Quarters 3 release.
I thought i scored huge pulling an 85 Stafford coin pack day 1, but holy hell i suffered through that for over 48 hours until i realized he's just terrible. At least Love could audible, my goodness. Gameplay is interesting. Tinkering with pass rushers, waffling between pure speed and other random stats (such as block shed & PMV/FMV) to see what sticks... mostly appears to be disengage type pass rush this year, able to get random pressures from double A-gap as well as edge pressure (using contains and speed on the outside).
BE SURE TO LINK YOUR EA ACCOUNTS and download Madden mobile, that 83 OVR Micah Parsons has been an elite pass rusher for me.
Never used the mobile app before. How’s it work? How do you link them?

It's much harder to do inM25 because players are still slow... but I had one demon block me from BOTH sides using a righty and lefty kicker.

I cannot wait for the first MLB with Lurker.
It’s crazy how no one understands this. I’m about to get a PS5 and guess what? I’m buying the old gen version as well but probably not until next May/June. I’m still playing 24 and have a complete god squad. Why go to the new game when it’s literally the same game with roster updates? I like the way the players move on old gen way more than the way they are running in quicksand on next gen. To each their own. I knew EA wasn’t going to really update anything. Is there any type of improvements To the old gen version ?

Wondering the same here.
Ducati0307 said:Again... I'm playing the old gen version of the game on my XBox Series X. I know it's early but here are my general thoughts:
- M25 is just a reskin of M24 and M23 with new rosters, menus, content, etc. Everything else is pretty much as it was last year (FG Block glitch and all).
- Same exact playbooks (thankfully).
- They have removed the "restart" option for challenges. You can only quit back to the menu if you miss an objective or play it out and wait for it to tell you whether you passed or failed. THIS IS REALLY ANNOYING.
- Glitches continue to plague old gen users... Solo Battles stopped tracking progress earlier today. I have little hope this will get fixed in a reasonable timeframe.
- Minimum prices are set way too low (I think this is for everyone). The old gen AH is somewhat barren. Having price ranges artificially set by EA as opposed to having a free market has made things even more stagnant.
- The rewards from Solos are pretty bad. Hardly worth doing them at this point.
- H2H Champions games are now 5 minute quarters! Makes this mode almost unplayable (at least for me). I'll stick with Seasons.... rewards are decent there.
- Defense is tough playing H2H games. All of my games are high scoring shootouts. Pass rush is non-existant. I miss Caleb Jones and his Lurker!
Hoping for some improvements when the full release happens.
You should know that EA isn't going to do any major updates or upgrades for Old Gen.
Really the only reason to play on Old Gen is for the more arcade like gameplay where you can cover a 20 yard square box with only your User

Hmmmm I don't know if its cos I am new gen but I disagree wildly with some of this.
Gameplay seems good to me.
Restart option is there.
Not noticed many glitches.
Rewards are bad, I agree
Defense seems good, you can actually play it unlike CFB, much better than CUT.
Packs are ridiculous, and rewards poor, not sure how you build a good team this year with all the BND crap. So that will likely kill my interest.

I realize that EA isn't putting effort into the old gen version of the game. But I'm fine with the mechanics as is... (for example the new passing mechanics). Same thing with playbooks... I'm fine running the same damn Saints offense as I have for seven years now.

Damn

I took a long break from M24... from January through mid-June. Fortunately I had about 36 million coins so I was able to buy all the players I wanted for my god squad. Played H2H daily until the day before M25 pre-launch and was having a lot of fun. The only reason I moved on to M25 was the fact that I like the team building aspects of MUT in addition to the gameplay (on the old gen version).
After a few days... I'm glad I made the switch and I doubt I'll go back and play M24.
Ducati0307 said:I understand some people like the "sim" feel of the game on current gen. I don't . I've been playing MUT for ten years now... and I strongly prefer the way the game plays on old gen. It took me a long time to get good at usering... baiting throws... covering multiple routes... etc. I've tried to make the switch several times and keep coming back to the game I love.
I've also been using the Saints Offense for so long... like 7 years now.... I really don't want to invest the time and effort into learning a new PB.
To each his own... I really think I'll hang it up before I make the switch. Also... I really enjoy the market aspects of MUT and making tons of coins. Looks like EA is trying to kill that. Another reason for me to finally retire if it keeps going in this direction.
This is my sentiments exactly, Its not a money thing as i spend plenty on old Gen i was actually gonna upgrade with NCAA but after i found out you cant even edit rosters i figured whats the point. And i actually bought 25 old Gen just to have it constantly crash without ever being able to play a game.. As of now i think im done due to EA's greed with no end in site
