Looking to add my final CB spot in place of Talib. Down to NTL and Ward in terms of affordability bc I’m mostly NMS. NTL has the better stats all around and has the better base stats as a tackler, but Ward gets secure tackler (NTL doesn’t). Any opinions or thoughts on which card plays better?

When it comes to tackling having secure tackler means a lot more than even having 99 tackling so that's one point for Ward. I'd also say Ward in general has the better ap stack since he can get passive UC for 0. So another point for ward there. Night Train's better attributes earn him a point. NTL also can equip out my way which is one of the only abilities that gives your players a chance to not get pancaked by vanguard.

It's pretty close and ultimately I think it comes down to would you rather have a player who can tackle an xfactor back but will get pancaked by vanguard or a player who might not get pancaked and possibly miss a tackle.

Personally, I prefer Ward for the tackling but I don't think NTL would be a bad pickup either.

Sweet, that was the perfect breakdown for what I was looking for. I appreciate it!!

If you have hutchinson there aren't as many RBs to worry about because momentum shift just turns off peoples angry runs. NTL gets out my way, I'm not sure if ward down. Out my way is really important to keep guys from getting pancakes by vanguards
