Why Is MUT Defense Sometimes Good Until It's Terrible?

So many guys left uncovered all the time. I have to babysit everything while my opponents quick-snap off of five different plays. It's too much in a close game. Yeah, I got tight, after coming back from behind with nineteen seconds left. I picked my opponent off twice off his terrible throws, but it didn't matter, because he got all the RNG through three quarters of the game, and then my safety decides to take a play off with five seconds left.

14-11 in Champs this week, after going on a 6-0 and standing 12-5 at one point. So sickening.

No, it's not DDA. It's just RNG. But RNG still makes this game an absolute waste of time unless it's favoring you with wins.

I've never bothered to play that many games in a week, but roster-wise I'm finally on even footing with most of my opponents and winning games. I just needed a few more wins. And I got tortured with bad rolls one game after another. Constantly having linemen mowed down off the snap. Getting zero knockouts on defense. I'm watching my opponent's user constantly going the wrong way off the snap, but no problem: AI and a quick-shed saves him completely.

The worst part about this game is having a feeling of what's coming, having your guys in position to make a play, and getting a swat animation when almost any NFL player would make that a pick. I had two of those in a row in my final game.

It's nights like tonight where I feel like this game is more of a compulsion than a pastime. I could have used the extra sleep and finished 13-10.
