Yes, except when there is a glitch that is being exploited. All the adjustments in the world can not prevent that.

If you’re telling me there’s no adjustments to stop an RPO I’m just gonna tell you you’re wrong about that, and move on with my day

I was referring more the a gap blitz glitches that do not occur in NFL games.
i mean ill cheese and rpo tf outta someone sitting in 6-1 but the moment they decide to actually choose a new defense i run my actual offense. ppl running cheese offense are just as bad as the losers who glitch blitz and run cheese defense every down

oh, gotchya. Yeah if they send 4 there’s an easy way to block it, send 5 is slightly harder but also feasible. An A gap blitz does happen tho, just not consistently in the NFL. because humans adjust to it, while in madden there’s one human with that responsibility

RPO's are very easy to prevent with 6-1. Best counter to 6-1 is just run the ball up middle if the line is spread, or run it to the sidelines if the d-line pinched. Once they run commit then you throw it down field.

I have a similar policy, but for celebrating at all. Until they do it to me, bad sportsmanship imo

I see your point, and I how now to stop it by sliding your line, setting protection ID-ing the mike, etc. , it just would be nice if my 99 ovr o-line would not let a lb rush right past them on a three man rush because he was 5 yards away from the LOS.

Yeah I get that. I just think most adjustments in that way should be user controlled
elmango30 said:the person playing defense is the one who is doing the learning though, although I think the read key assignment should have the ability to be told which assignment to play more simply than it currently does (but nothing is stopping people from setting up a working defense)
Exactly what I thought you'd say.
The user controls 1 man. The rest play their assignments. I get your point; I can adjust the other 10 to do what I want them to do but, come on, I shouldn't have to. And lets say for a minute I can actually do that in the time Madden gives between plays, how do I know the other guy is running an RPO this time? The 10 guys I don't control should adjust themselves. Not to plays that have yet to be called but something needs to be done to knock people out of spamming 2 plays out of 1 formation all game. And that's not just because it's not fun for me, how can it possibly be any fun for the other guy?? Do people really need a 'win' that badly??
Film Study should be something that turns on automatically when a player runs the same play more than a handful of times. Or players should 'learn' somehow. I'm not a coder but I can't imagine this can't be done. This is supposed to be simulation football. Right now we've got NFL players with Pee Wee football brains.

not when EA gives them the insta shed love and plays for em... also once i run a few rpo i make em commit to it the audible and mix it up till they close app lol

and I just don’t think the game should play itself for people who don’t want to adjust their players. Of course you have to adjust them! NFL defense rarely looks like how madden defensive playart does, and I know you know more about football than I do
well at the end of the day how much FUN are you actually having running the same 4 plays compared to the boring “grinding“ you have to do 7 times just to get a trophy pack & playoff pack thats IF you win the Super Bowl doing the same boring thing you did 7 games prior

honestly yeah, people who can’t stop my plays are boring to play against

Lol hell I run 4 6 1 faithfully but that was before it became meta. I ran it back in madden 21 and up. This year it became meta and hated.
