I’ll re type in case the question isn’t fully displayed in the subject line. If I buy an X-factor ability for 100 training for a player, is that x-factor ability now mine to apply to whoever I want.. like can I then remove that X factor ability and add it to another player in the future, or is it stuck on that one player forever unless I buy a different ability for that player?

not exactly, you would refund it on that player and buy it on the other player

......and would lose some Training in the process, although a pretty minimal amount. Just making sure that you know that it isn't a 1:1 when buying and selling abilities.
