Does anyone know the meaning of qb traits.  For example kirk cousins is generic 2 release..  what is that referring to?

I'll go down the list:

qb release: are basically the throwing motion the qb has on their card there are cards that have the fastest throwing motion (slinger 1, traditional 4) or a slower throwing motion (Generic 1.)  to answer your example Kirk has a middle of the pack release.

clutch, forces passes, penalty and qb style do not matter at all.

sense pressure: is the rate of which your qb get's under pressured which is also  tied to your throw under pressure rating.  the worse ones are being (trigger happy and paranoid.) the best being (ideal)

average is not good or bad but okay. but if you have fearless all this doesn't matter.

finally tight spiral, and throw ball away......same as the 1st small sentence......

hope this helps.

There’s a lot more to it, the other guy did a decent job at best explaining any and all. Just type in what you want madden wise into a search bar IE madden 24 player traits and a list or 2 will pop up explaining everything
