So sick of seeing posts like this. Who gives a shit if it's easy to beat? You see it EVERY GAME, it's sickening and it ruins the game. People are tired of playing against it and i reached the point of literally just quitting if i see an opponent doing bullshit plays. I don't have the time or energy to sit there and play against these people and stop their cheese. You can have the W at that point, who cares anymore

I agree that it would be more fun ( for me ) if there was more variety in how people play this game but that being said  , it is not cheese .  Also generally if you  do beat it  consistently ,  most people will either quit or change to a different defense ( most likely dollar )  .

Here’s my honest opinion. I understand it’s the strongest defense thanks to coding or YouTube videos showing people how to run it Idk. But listen MUT is already bad enough with everyone running the exact same players constantly. It’s just very unfortunate that if you play 5 games. Out of those 5. 4 of em will be the same players running the same offense and running 6-1. Yes I understand MUT is about winning and all that but what about some fun? And I get winning equals fun for some people. But when everyone runs the same cards and play the same it’s almost pointless to even load up. And the saddest part is all the toxic people in this community who say “get better” “trash” and many other comments it’s ignorant. I’ve won plenty of super bowls and I still complain about the gameplay. It’s boring and repetitive

I don't know man, I love playing the 6-1 and changing the players that blitz and drop back all the time., I think that is the "fun" part of it.  we only have a few seconds to make adjustments based on what the offense is doing and I love it!  if I make a bad call in  6-1 I'm toast.  I feel like people will complain no matter what. its all good though, keep on trucking!

Agreed I like to utilize 6-1 and have sort a chess aspect, where I am consistently changing my coverages and blitz's to keep my opponent guessing. I think people are just more annoyed at those who pinch their d-line and run cover 4 on every single flipping play. It is easy to beat it is just annoying.

And I’m glad you have fun. By no means am I hating or anything I just dislike that everyone does it every game there’s no variety in madden matches anymore

3-4 odd is better, 6-1 is for amateurs and easy af to beat

Use dollar agap concept. run any variation of coverages, instant pressure rushing 4. There is a cover 4 play with mlb rushing, flip it, pinch dline, user the other mlb hover close enough to center where the green bars light up. 

point of the 34 is when you spread LBs it gives them better chance for clogging passing lanes and stopping the run at the same time. It’s a defense you want to use inside 20 or against a runner. dollar is better away from that and is the best formation to stop double post/vertical  copycats. 

against a good opponent you will have to make a lot of adjustments to cov, I usually put safety away from bunch in yellow, corner on the bunch side in purple, bunch safety in deep third. lb in hard 0 yard flat.

Lol damn. 5 more months and it'll be a different meta. I'll still be using it though. It's been in the rams playbook since madden 20 and sucks when a formation you regularly use becomes the meta.

It’s a cheese formation to run and most people who use it are trying to exploit not actually play the game. For the most part it’s a crutch for bad players. it’s also funny how the 6-1 gods tend to be the lame-os that run 4 verts and Rpos all game. It’s a scrub meta

Glad to hear that it is effective at stopping the run. Also when you state inside the 20, you're referring to the redzone correct?
