I run cover 4 palms 90% and I have great success but my defensive abilities do not trigger correctly and route tecs burn my match coverage sometimes. Does anyone know if defensive abilities work on match or they are all just unusable?

A defender in match coverage may play either man or zone. If a defender only has a zone ability, and match coverage requires him to play man, the zone ability won’t light up. I guess if you play a lot of match coverage, abilities like acrobat and pick artist might light up more.
