I opened it. 91 Blitz Kincaid best card from the 3. Some high 80's sprinkled in. 'Only' 2 golds.

I opened it and struggled to break even. This year, there really isn't a level reward that isn't something of a gamble (including the Platinum packs). That's MUT these days, I guess...

I was surprised last evening when i went looking for TOTY packs, figured i'd waste coins on at least a couple, so i could build the 97 Set I wanted... HA, joke was on me. Those are cash offers ONLY. We are all so damaged and broken and willing to give EA the benefit of the doubt, over and over and over, yet here they are, slapping us all in the face as they scoot with our hard-earned money, leaving us with this pathetic, low-effort, constantly recycled bullshit... buggy ass game, fuck my life.
Yet here i am, apparently a glutton for punishment. One of these days i'll finally retire (again) from this madness. There's SO many great games available, sadly, not for those of us passionate about fatball.

I'm looking forward to Elden Ring DLC in June... i'm really hoping that will captivate my interest (again) so that i can dodge a bullet and avoid having a weak moment in August when pre-order time comes. I'm still salty about the fact i invested a ton of time, effort and resources (~15M coins) to build out all 33 Rookie Premier set's last year (during MUT `23 cycle), only to have EA pull their usual bullshit -- waiting WEEKS to finally deliver all those things that we were assured would carry over to `24. So instead of being all set up to start the new game/year (which was my very first time playing MUT from Day 1 release, i pre-ordered the $100 Deluxe and everything, i was HYPED about having three days of early access to settle in, took PTO so i could have a long weekend away from wr0k) and holy hell, what a let-down.
I ended up pissing away 2800 Points on a starter team, because none of my R.P.s were available, making anything i did to prepare essentially worthless. Not to mention i've been banned from the auction house (TWICE) already this year, accused of "coin distribution" despite not having ever bought or sold anything of the sort. Anyway, i'm just pissing into the wind at this point. You are not alone, my good man.
If i pay full price for this game next year (or ever), PLEASE come slap me silly... with a large trout. I definitely got $35 (Black Friday sale price) worth of "value" out of MUT `23, until i got hooked. I'm slightly better at the game now, which might suggest it has become more fun, but NOPE... i logged off early last night after TOTY in complete disgust. Oh well.
