Didn't MUT used to have a salary cap game mode? I'm old gen, but have a great SB/ Playoff theme team and love wining, but it would be cool to play with older cards against people with similar rosters.

Yeah, I remember that. It was pretty cool. But I can see why EA got rid of it. It doesn't encourage pack sales since if the cap is at a reasonable number you wouldn't use all the top cards
That and I think it's appeal is kinda niche.

NBA 2K is still keeping it, constantly changing the player salaries (based on market sales)
Would be great to have it back here but we know NMS is EA worst nightmare, so forget it...

Ya that would be a great way of improving the matchmaking but you know if it’s a good thing EA will ignore it
