Hi MUT.gg,
I was wondering if it was possible to notify EA that the facescans for a couple players need to be fixed - Deion Sanders, Ed Reed, and Sean Taylor. All three have had accurate facescans/likeness in the past so I was wondering if that could be adjusted. Especially Deion Sanders who had the correct facescan just last year.
There may be others but that's who I've noticed.

I mean, it's obvious that EA doesn't give a F about player likeness compared with other sport games such like Fifa, NBA 2k (where 95% of the players have a good or decent facescan).
It's ridiculous how at 2021, PS5 or Xbox Series X the majority of the players doesn't have a facescan in the game. 95% of the players have a default face, default body types, default accessories, it's so sad.
I would propose to do a list with all the players that need a facescan but EA is not going to do nothing as always. Kam Chancellor was a player that also was facescaned in past maddens for example.

And where are the tattoos on multiple players man? Since 2015 I'm complaining about all this laziness by EA so I totally agree with you.

The tattoos won't happen due to the possibility of the tattoo artist filing suit for their work. I believe this happened w/ either Mike Evans or OBJ...I can't remember who.
The face scans being updated would be nice, but it's probably not a high priority for EA as it doesn't really generate them any extra revenue.

Yeah i know about the OBJ/Mike Evans situation but why 2k does it? Why almost all the players on NBA2k has the tattoos done?
I personally think (and almost everyone) that Madden is one of the most lazy games about sports. It's obvious that facescans aren't a high priority for EA but why FIFA does it? Why 2k does it?They're not working hard to drop new and interesting content for MUT, they're always recycling and wtf with the gameplay!? It's always the same, a animation based gameplay, with the same animations since Madden 25.
It's not a question of priorities, it's a question of offering a good game to the people who trust you year after year.

2K fought in court for almost 2 years dealing w/ lawsuits over their representations over tattoos. EA doesn't have the time/patience/desire to do such a thing to get that art in the game.
EA doesn't do most things because they simply don't have to. It's as simple as that.
Their engagement numbers and pack sales are so astronomical that they don't need or want to do anything that derives from their bottom line. This is unfortunately the way EA operates.

The point is that we have to change this, we cannot let this continue to happen if we really want a change. In the end, a company gives what the customer wants to receive.
It seems that everything is wrong with this game said by the majority of players but the same players keep playing hours and hours a day as if the multiple problems of this game did not exist. It's really frustrating for the people who do speak out, who criticize the game's weaknesses as they don't have enough representation to be heard. Anyway, have a great day guys!
i hear yah brother ,,i complained constantly for yrs then boycotted madden 5 yrs ..due to game crashes and bugs .The game hasn't gotten better this yr still has consistent system and game crashes .My lineup /binder glitches out daily .,i cant even play missions right now it says my team has abilities on and gaps in my lineup,,when i don't.and lineup screen is bugged out cant even really see cards or adjust players..happens daily..this game is trash !!!!,,but its all their is ..kinda like our government , we're stuck with it..😖😟😢🤬
eldepaz, I totally agree with you. I know they've fixed the likeness of players in the past so I figure it's worth a shot.
It's frustrating when you see the great job they can actually do when you compare Ed Reed to how accurate he looked in Madden 19 (left) and Madden 20 and beyond (right).
Ouch! The saddest thing is that there are many, many more cases like this one. I am willing to make a thread in the forum with an excel list sorted by teams and photos of which players I think are missing a face scan. I would make a separate list of legend players so it's not too complicated to understand, for example one list for current squads and another with legend squads or former NFL players (Campus Heroes and such).

Yep, there are! I would definitely be able to contribute to this list. I can take images of Sean Taylor, Deion Sanders, and others from previous games. I believe I can still access my team going back to MUT 18, if that helps us in this quest.

Hi @StrikeFromAbove, the idea I initially had was to get into the Franchise mode of the game (Madden 22) and see the players faces from there since you can see them without the helmet on and you can appreciate them much better (although in the case of the legends you can't do that).
If you want to make this list with me about face scans tell me something. The idea is to make an excel list with the rosters sorted alphabetically and put the actual game image compared to their real face so you can see the difference. We can also add in the list the players accessories and body type.
I'm from Spain so I doubt we will have the same schedule but today I will start creating the excel document to make the list.

Yes, I would love to help you with the list. I haven't played franchise in a while but I believe I know which menu you're referring to where you can see the whole face. I can help take images in Madden as well as grab images on the internet. Do you want to start with the Bears and then I do the Bengals? Does something like that work?

Great, so we'll start with the teams you said (Bears and Bengals). I'll create a Google Drive document so we can both edit the Excel list when we want it.
I think that the idea about the legends is perfect. In the document I will create different tables for the current roster and a roster for legends. To do this I need your email address, so we can talk privately and I can give you permissions on the Google Drive document.
