Since they switched the fatigue back off my defense has been playing like straight Shit. underneath routes work every time now it seems like the safeties just freeze up on most plays I just don’t get EA i have a 91 50/50 chiefs TT but since the update my team has played the worst it has all year am I the only one
What style defense you liek to run? I might encourage you to check out something from Dollar, perhaps FS Zone Blitz. PRESS, then put the FS into whatever you prefer, maybe Hook Zone, or cross-man onto the opponent's TE or Slot Receiver (whatever is beating you) and be certain to individually back up your Slot2 corner (right of screen in image below), which will increase the consistency of your A-gap blitzer. If you still aren't getting consistent pressure, do not hesitate to send 5 pass rushers, by manually blitzing the Slot1 corner. And shade down/underneath so your purple Zones turn into Hard Flats (light blue / aqua). Your USER responsibility is to help take away the primary read, while keeping an eye on the middle of the field.

The other base defense i liek to use, which works well defending both run and pass attack (i used this primarily during fatigue/stamina glitch ongoing issues) would be to come out in something liek Dbl Safety Go, from Dime Normal. But i disable Auto-Flip, ensuring to always flip the play, come out in the above coverage, before calling an audible to my favorite Cover 4 Quarters. This will bring both Safeties down into the box, just be sure you don't press, otherwise they'll walk back out/up to their default position, but you can still quickly call the audible, set D-line adjustments (pinch, crash inside, hoping to get insta-sheds and pressure up the middle) and shade your coverage down/underneath, which should do a fantastic job against all those crossing routes and quick dump off.
The league is becoming dink and dunk, which seems to be effective (often using motion) against the two-high Safety schemes, many teams are playing lately. Also puts immense pressure on linebackers, who aren't typically Fred Warner great in pass coverage... but i'm already confusing REAL fatball with this "simulation" oof. Regardless, either option should help improve your scheme. Dollar clearly the best defense in the game, especially after fatigue was removed.

I haven’t been running to much zone this year but I guess I have to switch. Man to man has ben bend but dont break and hope my opponent makes a mistake for me for years but since the update man to man has been so inconsistent it’s not even funny
