Any chance they update the rosters in mut draft. I tried to play with my friend because our mut rosters are not the closest in overalls, and it was just littered in core elites at best. Why wouldn’t they update the rosters every new season with last seasons cards. Does anybody know if they’ve talked about updating it or is it because they don’t make money there, they don’t care about it?

I can only speculate, but i think you already pointed out a potential reason -- EA has never been accused of doing any actual work. At this point they're basically just phoning it in. It's only JAN / Wild Card weekend and they're literally re-using assets from MUT `23. Instead of "fixing" the House Rules Playoff, they simply shut it down / locked everyone out, because there were issues were SOME wins were not tracking properly for some people. So their solution was to shut it down for everyone.
It's crazy how NBA2K basically gets damn near real-time updates pumped directly into the game and they have WAY more games in any given week than the NFL, but EA Orlando / Tiburon can't be bothered to update hardly anything. Uggh. Sorry i'm not much help here, but i can rant and rave about this madness all damn day. This is the only "simulation" fatball experience that exists. /sigh
