Team help

Hey everyone! I recently got madden for the holidays and have been playing since. I've made a lot of progress but I'm still being outmatched whenever I play Head to Head. This is just my opinion, and definitely I'm not trying to sound harsh, but you might want to stick with challenges and solo battles for now and try to build up your coin stack until you can field a better team.  At this point in the game, you really need to be at least a 90 OVR or above to be competitive in H2H.

Yeah, I was starting to realize that. Any challenges you'd recommend? I've been trying to get the 92 Brandon Graham but thinking about stoping.

Start with AKAs and Legends.  When you accumulate enough tokens in each of those, you can redeem for a free player.  AKAs maxed out at 92 OVR (not including LTDs) and Legends  are up to 94 OVR and will probably increase to 95s in the coming weeks.

Alternatively, if you don't mind spending additional money on the game, EA occasionally has some decent offers in the store.

In my opinion, the advice above is good.

You took advantage of the captain tokens...that is good.

You can't expect to be competitive against 93 OVR teams until you are least 90-91 OVR.

The field and comp pass expire, so get what you can from them ASAP.

Some programs may disappear (Most Feared, AKA, Harvest). Get what you can ASAP. 

Legends are easy and you get a champ from the tokens. This program will be around for another month or two, so you can concentrate on stuff that will be lost to you in a few days then get back to this one for a nice player upgrade.

Watch the MCS stream on Wednesday and get a free HB....Taylor!

I would suggest holding off on spending coins until you see who is revealed for Playoffs Part I.

If you see a good enough deal, I would grab it! But prices are high in the auction house now and they may be coming down after the new season starts.

You may be able to snag the odd 90 OVR for 20,000 -30,000 if you shop at off hours or just get lucky with timing.

I think zero chill sets disappeared from the possible sets at the end of last year. Can't go wrong with Heyward Bey, Diggs and Woolen! I have been happy with all 3. LT & Watt have not been as productive for me, and you have a nice Hendricks for free who has outstanding speed.

Do you have a favorite team? Are you going to try to carry more players from one team, or will you go for whatever theme is offered next? I think the sugar rush guys had some great boosts last year.
