But if he did not overthrow every deep ball, and throw most short balls slightly behind the receiver, they might have easily won that game.

The game meant nothing to me as a Vikings fan. But every time he threw that deep ball, I knew he'd be over his receiver by three to four yards. Even the last pass was enough behind the receiver to make the receiver make an adjustment. He definitely should have caught it. But that ball could have been thrown much better.
