What's the point of the challenge button??? Seriously???

has anyone actually been able to use it??? like every single time there would probly be a challenge IRL "THERES NOTHING TO CHALLENGE" god this game is terrible

a few weeks ago i was able to (successfully) challenge some plays in solo battles.

Admittedly, this is an awkward feature to have in a video game. IRL, challenges are needed because humans can make mistakes especially when everything is happening in real time. In a video game, the code under the hood already has all the information necessary to make the correct call for any play on the field at least assuming everything is coded correctly. 

So in order to simulate challenges, you have to code the game to sometimes appear to be mistaken so that challenges happen. But I'd imagine in any competitive mode they would turn challenges off because the game knows to how to handle everything.
