Card nerfs

I used to think was tinfoil hat silliness.  Nope. Every QB this year has missed progressively more throws as time goes on.  RG3, FiElda’s, and now Aikman With gift wrapped. I’m not talking about lead passes or tight windows. Troy is routinely missing HBs on Texas routes when there is no defender within 15 yards. He doesn’t just barely miss them.  throwing at the numbers and he misses out of bounds over the bench. Champions, Seasons, Solo battles. Silly.

I don't know if they (EA) "nerf" cards or not...maybe cards start playing worse as time goes on as the card is just not top tier anymore...or maybe EA is doing something. What I believe (which means I think it is true but can't prove it) is there is almost nothing consistent in this game...from QBs to blocking to coverage to block shed...band plays on...you can go on a roll and then...everything that was working stops working.  The lack of consistency is the biggest frustration...I can accept I'm not good at the game...just don't make me good for a string of games.

The "nerfing" of cards was pretty much proven last year with the Jerry Rice fiasco!!! I used to think nerfing the cards was all made up till that happened..

I had 88 Joey Porter Jr on my field until his 92 came out and I promise you his 88 played way better.

The thresholds don’t change. Improvement in other players shouldn’t change how an individual card plays. 

The nerfs are real at the QB position.  All the QBs now exceed the major thresholds so to keep us on the wheel they have to step on old QBs and give new cards ability discounts.

it's not a nerf, you upgraded your team most likely and when you do it plays worse. scale your team back down and watch as he magically makes every throw again.

Why does the free Vick fairly frequently pump fake instead of hitting the guy on the the go route when defenders blitz resulting in a sack the legends vick did the same thing. I was wondering if it was because he was left handed. It’s the left receiver that he does that to. Dak didn’t do it so either it’s his left handedness his release or he’s programmed to mess up now and again costing me possessions.

1000%. It’s probably a combination of both but EA has definitely been caught red handed adjusting stats for cards way after launch.

That Rice example was so egregious that you can’t deny it at this point.
