I will play several games of H2h, and gain minimal or no XP. Then suddenly, after a random match, I gain a significant amount. Why is that? I’m having a hard time ranking up the field pass.
note: I’m playing all madden h2h, if that has anything to do with it.
You don't get xp for playing the game, only for objectives.
You should be checking the relevant passes before you play each day to see what you could do to get as much XP as possible.
They got rid of the old xp system where you got steady amounts of xp per game when they switched to field passes last year.
The only way to earn xp now is completing objectives in a field pass. Most objectives are tied to achieving certain stats e.g. pass for 2000 yards. Some objectives also require that you use certain players in your lineup. So the best way to earn xp is to check your field passes and see what you need to do to complete the objectives.
