Rush DE/DT

Who/What type of player do you use here? 

Are you running defensive lineman at the rush de/dt position? Or do you use outside linebackers (like LT or Parsons) at the rush positions? What’s the best strategy to use?

I'm using Ware, Parsons and Myles Garrett as my 3 rush players

I usually use DTs at rush dt but will occasionally use DEs if they have good stats/body type to help stuff the run. For edge rushers, I use either. Just depends on who is available and how they play.

for most of the yr had two OLB's now I have Von Miller and Judon as my pass rushing DE's

don't sleep on DL, it's super important this yr and with how horrible blocking is if you build your d line right can make a huge difference...

I used UK Clowney as my pass rushing DT for a while before I upgraded, for the most part, best to use DE's as pass rush DT's and OLB's as pass rush DE's (specialists tab) IMO

Ware/Parsons on the edge.  Randle/Donald as rush DT.  Ware with edge threat is nice but  inconsistent (as with all pass rushers). 
 

if you’re  on a budget try hargrave, he was solid for me.

currently using Parsons, Strahan, and The Gravedigger

90% of the time I'm in Dollar, so I'm vulnerable to inside runs. that's why I thought The Gravedigger with his Inside Stuff and Run Stuffer AKA Upgrade should be a perfect fit here.

as for Parsons, he's free, and Strahan is just good

Honestly, I don't think it matters much. Edge rush is awful. Mid rush is where most people get pressure. I run Gilbert Brown and Quinnen in the middle, sometimes MF Allen. Strahan and Von on the edge but I also will sometimes run all DT pass rush with Randle and Donald in there as well.
