Moss has been one of my favorite players ever. However, I’ve always thought he’s played horrible in Madden. Could never win a contested catch, felt so soft.

Finally bought him today at 430k (hate spending a lot on players), but he has been AMAZING. Powered up and full Vikings theme team. He catches everything. Just a few H2H games and I don’t even mind the coins spent after seeing him dominate jump balls.

If you’ve been waiting to get him, or wondering if he’s worth it… Do it!

I had a very different experience. I‘ve always liked Moss and use him every year. I decided to try him yesterday in place of Jimmy Smith. His routes cut later than Jimmy and didn’t get as much separation for me. I powered Moss back down, sold him, and went back to Jimmy. I’m not saying Moss isn’t good, he just didn’t give me what I’m used to from Jimmy.

Moss might be the worst route runner on my team. Adams and Diggs get a ton of separation on routes. I mainly use Moss for out routes or streaks, but he‘s been a jump ball animal so far. Overall though, Adams might be the best one, and is the cheapest.

Exactly this. Hes not a route runner. Hes a big boy to do one or two things and he does them extremely well.

Thanks for the clarification. This explains why I felt like he didn’t get the separation I was hoping for. It also explains why I’ve had people winning some jump balls against my defense with Moss.

If the Chargers TT didn’t have so many high CB’s right now, I’d try Moss as a filler for me on defense. His attributes really do look great especially with his 6 foot 4 frame hawking balls. no body aside from Ed Jones and Collin Johnson should be getting even close to catching deep balls thrown up near him.
