Madden 23 - Playing on All Madden and throwing for 10k+ per season.

Madden 24 - Playing on All Pro and I haven't played a game yet where I've completed greater than 20% of my passes and not thrown 2+ INTs.

What is going on here?  Can someone help me?  I CANNOT throw the ball and this has never been a problem.

I've heard high balls aren't as effective this year as they were last year. I believe they are less likely to result in a catch. This could explain some of your incompletions if you throw a lot of high passess.

Who is your QB? If your QB has under 85 throw accuracy, they are capable of overthrowing the receiver. 85 seems to be the minimum needed to prevent this from happening.

Also if you're using skill based passing it may take some time to relearn it. I know it took me awhile to adjust to the it on this year's game coming from last years.

Touch pass you say?? More like bullets and lobs, it’s so ridiculous.

You should definitely change your playbook. Chiefs has a a lot of good plays so does saints especially if you’re primarily passing. Also upgrade QB, accuracies seem to matter quite a lot rn. Try to stay calm in the pocket and don’t panic, this can result in a poor read. Lastly, try to complete easy and safe passes like drag, whip, and really any RB routes especially flat and Texas routes, don’t always go for the big play.

Hope this helps!!

Have you changed something from past years? It shouldn't be that difficult.

Run man beaters against man--i.e. digs, drags, slants, etc. Having good WRs also helps a lot in terms of getting separation. Against zone, you can literally spam a flood concept to the short side of the field relentlessly. The CPU doesn't know how to adjust and cover that when running zone defense. Then just make good reads and you should be good to go.

@Elastic Man It's possible that the AI in Madden 24 has been enhanced to provide a more realistic and challenging experience, resulting in tougher passing scenarios.

this madden is a run meta.  However, it’s beginning to become more balanced once the QB’s get the abilities we rely on.  And your receivers speed is starting to get juiced to create that separation. Their goal was to have a slow roll on rating boost.  And you’re lack of passing game is a result of that.
