May be a dumb question, but for identifier to work, does it have to be on a starting linemen? Or can I have it on my backup RT (and activated) and it still work?

The lineman must be on the field.

The player just has to be on the field. MVP Mahomes gets it for 0AP so I have it equipped on him.

@bloxd io Not a dumb question at all! According to the Madden NFL 22 game manual, the Identifier ability can be equipped on any offensive lineman, including backup players . Therefore, you should be able to equip it on your backup RT and activate it without any issues.
