Solo battles

Why every time they do this maintenance bs or have an update everything works but solo battles? 
 

anyone else able to play everything else but solo battles right now?

Solo Battles gated for me last night around 10:30pm CST, and I still had one more to play from yesterday, and haven't been available since.   This was unfortunately a very common occurrence last year on Sundays, when the Comp Pass reset on Mondays.
