MUT 24 move from old gen to current gen Pre Order Bonus - Xbox

I've been playing MUT 24 on the old gen (Xbox one X) since the early release on 8/15/23. I already opened all my Pre-Order packs, spent the 4600 coins and played a few games. But, the game was super stale on old gen. Every Head2Head game had play delays, and the Auction House was pointless. Moving to Current gen, I knew my team, coins, etc wouldn't transfer, but I figured it's still really early, so might as well do it now. 

I moved to Xbox Series X and to my surprise, I opened Madden 24 X/S, log into MUT and I received ALL my pre-order bonuses, again. All the packs, and the 4600 coins. 

Not sure if I lucked out, or if this is the way it's going for everyone, but I figured old gen users should know this if they're considering moving to the current gen.

Nice! I would consider myself lucky as some users (myself included) still have not received our points on next gen. Hope you enjoy the game better with the move!

Good for you. Many of us who intended to play current gen only ended up with our points only on old gen. 

EA fixed it right away for PlayStation but two weeks later most of the affected Xbox customers are still SoL.

Question for you guys then, Im going to go pick up an Xbox x tonight. Been playing on Xbox one. To get the game on my new console I just have to sign in with my gamer tag and download it right? i know no coins and players or anything will transfer but I’m hoping to have your luck with the preorder stuff.

it's DEF this way, EA has completely separated the games, between generations.  I discovered the same when logging on from my PS4.  I was hoping i'd still be able to use the auction house and make changes to my team, etc. unfortunately they are two distinct games.  This is the expected behavior, IMO.

I cannot recall if i already spent my 4600 Points on last-gen (PS4 Pro), only hopped on once or twice to see how different things were.  At this point i'm primarily using the PS4 Pro via Remote Play to access the PS5.  Last-gen sucks, welcome to the machine.  Enjoy spending those points twice!

This is ridiculous can’t we ask for refund or take some type of action against them? Being that we paid for something and we still haven’t received? i still haven’t got my 4600 points.

Did you get your pre-order packs? Did you download the 'X/S' Version of Madden 24 on the current gen?
That's only thing I could think of. I only downloaded the 'X/S' version and no other games on the Series X.
