After playing a little bit though no online H2H play a few things.
the menu lag and load times are much better especially the menu lag. I'm coming from old gen to new gen so I'm sure it was also faster for 23.
Pressing gets burnt easy.
alot of inaccurate passes but a real life game also has alot of missed passes so I kind of like that aspect and alot is my own fault as the QB and not perfecting the free form passing yet.
Not much pack variety and the cheapest pack is 500 points that's not a level reward store offer.
Not many ints. I don't think I've intercepted the ball one time in 3 solo battles games and 20 solos.
pursuit still sucks and the game can use some tweaks here and there which is expected.
Training is alot harder to get. Players qs for 1 or 2 training as low overalls.
Having an over two week house rules to start out is nice
No new celebrations? I was expecting some new ones but no big deal.
This seems like a more grounded game. With abilities not a big factor and only having 6ap. With overalls and ratings like speed starting out lower than ever before I like how grounded the game feels.
Its cool seeing the SB top 100 and all the different console players vying for #1. I also like the menu set up with the field passes and objectives.
noticed they made some changes to strategy cards like a hybrid card? And I guess coaches now can get a +1 boost to a rating? Also there doesn't seem to be a way to get any other playbooks or coaches. There are some on the auction house but I dont know how they even got those? I also saw some alternative playbooks on the AH.
All in all I like all the changes made to the game amd the game feels grounded and more realistic than ever before.
