Picked off a guy in the last 5 sec. was up 3. He had no timeouts, then lags out of the game and win doesn't count for me.

yeah that sucks happens to me all the time
Are you wired or on WiFi? I know it's not feasible for everyone, but if you have any ability to string a very long ethernet cable to your gaming console, it's well worth the added hassle. Your ping times will be much less, your connection will become much more stable... although, ultimately, nothing or no one can prevent EA from being cheap and mismanaging resources. Not much else you can do beyond a wired connection.
Troubleshooting WiFi requires taking a full site survey and figuring out what (if any) radio interference is around your specific location. All that being said, i've still lagged out and lost a close one, even after stringing up a hardwire. EA gonna EA, oof. You'll get em tonight! Hope to see you in `24.
