Did anyone else notice the power up icon back?

On the “catalog” screen shot there is a run down of types of cards.  The power up symbol is there….

That would be the best thing they could announce. Made getting the players you wanted actually hard

I miss power ups.  Made team building more enagging.  But sadly I feel like this is a hoax.  What I don’t miss is what they did with legends last year.  That sucked.

Yeah I saw that. Makes me wonder if we are getting power ups that is why the lower OVR for the core elites?

In 22 power ups start much lower than a player's base item. You can upgrade a power by using training and items of that player. For example, let's say his power up starts at 68 ovr in 24 you can use 86 ovr core elite Aaron Donald and some training to get a 87 ovr Aaron Donald. Let's say a couple months later Aaron Donald gets a 90 ovr item you could than use that item and more training to get a 91 ovr Donald. Basically this repeats until EA is finished giving a player upgrades.

Personally, I'm not a fan of it as it requires investing a lot of coins and training for stats, EA could have just given the card.

One reason it was popular was you could basically use it as an investment. Basically you would stock up on players who you think are due upgrades and then sell once they got the upgrade.

They prob made the game 2 years ag lulz

You guys missing power ups, or wanting them back are insane. Removing them was a giant W. Upgrading your team was so costly with training, and you felt stuck or hamstrung with what you had, sure you could add anyone but it wasnt as good as the fully powered version. Now you can just get whatever cards you want and they are essentially a power up, add whatever team, whatever abilities.

I cant even fathom going back to how it was

I’m pretty sure the logo is just for the Legends like in ‘23

This 100 million % needs to stay gone except for Legends and programs like that.PUP'S are a complete waste and money/Training sink hands down.

I completely agree with this. I would prefer they remove them from Legends as well and let you change the chemistries without a power up.

Lots of people here clearly never Made millions investing in and holding the power up cards 😂

This. Somebody needs to explain how they could be on the other side of this opinion. I see too many of y’all
