Did he piss EA off? I was positive he was going to get a 99ovr card but I guess I was wrong. The greatest WR of all-time no doubt about that and he gets a 98ovr this year. I hope hes in madden 24. It is what it is.

Odgen only has 1 card and its a 93. (Every other player in the AM program has a 99)
Kevin Greene only has a 96

Maybe we get a final upgrade promo or he is the CP champion this coming week (maybe multiple champs to fill In The blanks that EA missed?!).

I agree, Jerry Rice is hands down the best receiver to ever stop on a football field and probably a top 3-5 player overall in NFL history. Even a 98 for a player of his level is disrespectful…

I would’ve been fine with it cuz he had a 98, but so many other players got dupe 99’s and 98’s that it’s just stupid tbh

"People" are not the GOAT. Literally the greatest wide receiver to ever play the game, quite possibly THE greatest player of all time. This aggression will not stand, man. I haven't faced a single opponent using Jerry in a very long time. Joe to Jerry was the original quest I set out upon when initially creating my MUT squad. I came pretty close, but it's difficult to gimp myself just to relive a few moments of my misspent youth. Nobody uses that 98 RoH supporting cast Jerry, it's an affront to all mankind.
I'm still using boosted Kevin Greene on my 49ers TT, btw heh.

I wish AB didnt go nuts because he would have crushed all the WR records- no contest.
I have Greene as backup still for steelers TT as well.
