So I can barely play the game correctly due to lag. I can only get a a decent connection around 4am....and that is rare as well. About 9 out 10 games I cant play the game due to lag....but....
The cheesiest thing I've seen is escape artist on Vick and Lamar. With a good player you cant stop it. I've tried everything. Even come out in dollar and spy a defensive back.
What's really cheesy is 3 TE sets and these two with escape. What formation do you come out on defensively when this happens? Cant go small because theyll run the ball down your throat. Can go big because Vick and Lamar are too fast.
Also, in 3 TE sets your DEs get locked up really easy....you can contain them and they dont contain....you can spy them and their too slow....its been unstoppable even if you make the right adjustments .
Am I wrong? What do you do to stop it?
In all honesty Escape Artist needs to be taken out of the game in Madden 23. It simply isnt fun. Same game every time....escape...PA crossers/boot.
It's like and arcade game versus real football
Basically, with how bad the coverage is a lot of the time....and the cheese escape artists...you have to have a 2 man rush and still get bombed or cant stop the cheese qb escape artist.
The defense in this game is useless. I've stared jsut playing cover 4 / cover 4 drop until the field shrinks....but now I might as well kick an onside kick when I can so I dont have to worry about my zone coverage dumbing out and giving up a big bomb.
My opinion is escape artist should be removed from the game or, give us some type of ability on our DEs called "Super Contain"...and dont make the AP high. 2 AP speed rusher....3 AP on power rusher. Or how about "Super Spy"...??
