4-4 defense vs 6-1 or 4-6 defense?

I use the 4-6 defensive pb and have been thinking about switching to the Chiefs defensive pb. I love the 4-6 defensive pb and have been using it for 3 years now but it looks like the Chiefs pb offers a few more different formations that I might find useful like the 6-1 formation and the quarter formations plus it has all the formations I use often from the 4-6 like BNoG,3-3 and Dollar. The 4-6 does have the speed package but I don't really use it often along with the 3-3 cub. Also I don't use the 4-4 formation often either even though it looks like it would do well against a run heavy offense that this game is now leaning towards with the x-factor rb's we all are seeing now. So which is better vs the run? The 4-4 or the 6-1 defense? I also figure having more plays with the quarter formation to go against the pass has to be a good thing.

The 4-4 has been a god send for me lately with all the heavy runners using Xfactors. I tried 61 a while back and it wasn’t nearly as consistent for me. If you are just looking for a good base run D base align Press Monster Green Cover 3 where the MLB and OLB are blitzing and spread your LBs. User the weak side MLB or the backside safety. Im sure there are other formations but this one has by far the most consistent run D I have found lately. Hope this helps brother.

I use 4-4 Split against heavy runners and it has worked better for me than 6-1 did when I tried it.

What pbs have 4-4 in it?
