I've been doing a lot of Theme Team Remix auction purchases since the new currency went live. I mentioned last week that I've added countless 99s to my team this way.
I also have played long enough to recognize that the auction prices fluctuate.
However, the trend is almost always down. I've noticed that 97s in the Auction House who recently cost 85k are now 115-120k.
Similarly, the 99s I was buying to turn into coins have also increased significantly.
James Smith-Williams and Thomas Morstead were usually in the 270-290k range last week. They're 365-380k as I type this.
What's the rationale for the spike? Is there a new way to use this currency to break the economy or a new batch of better cards or what?
I'm confident this behavior isn't random, but I'm not noticing anything that would explain the change.
