There are cards that get it for half the game. They play no better lit up than they do unlit.

The AKA 96s and 97s? Not really sure what you expect when there’s a clear meta of 99 overall teams at this point in the game. And yes, they do play at the very least a little better, if not significantly. Otherwise, what’s the point of having the XF itself?

The only viable card with AKA UC is JackRabbit, and he is 5 foot 10. Easily misses the height needed

Rhodes Closed has the same PRC and AWR and is a 99 on almost every team using strat cards. He is unusable at this point in the game. Porter will be the same. 

All the free cards are a step below the other cards of that grade. That's why Calvin Johnson is meh for anyone who can afford regular 99 WR's. If anyone can't? He works in a pinch.

Calvin is wr2 below moss, at the very least. Very tall and a literal x-factor that can neutralize knockouts. He’s very much good. Porter also has the ability 100 percent of the time. He is also very tall. I don’t know where you’re getting this idea that all free cards are bad.

I’d be very impressed if you could find someone who DOESN’T want Calvin as at least wr2 on their team.

Well, with that mentality none of the cards animate. It works for 90% of the community who have him, so there is no reason that another person can’t have success. I don’t know what to tell you other than to wait before a card comes out before getting angry about it

after looking at both your comments. not every card that's 99 is going to be "META." i could care less about height or OVR it's the stats,abilties,and gameplay (large sample size) that dictake a card. Calvin (for me at least) without the x-factor is a good card still  to me because he get's 2x chems on any team and not only that i have variety to use other cards  for my preferences offense.  same with gronk. as for animations are concerned, i'm assuming you high balled every pass  and after that patch i found out about way back when.  it's not the fault of the card it's the fault of the game coded by a 9 year old.

so i agree with both you to a EXTENT.

All I said was the cards that the community generally agrees upon are good, are actually good.

also Rhodes closed was never free

The page says he gets 1 AP Film Study but he doesn't even have the ability unless you boost him to 95 AWR. And even then, it's still 3 AP
