Whats everyone’s opinion about theme teams at this point? Would I be better off just trying to fill each position with whoever gets the most/best free abilities Regardless of team chem?

Yeah, I've pretty much given up on tts after the AP Update.

Unless you’re a diehard fan the meta is definitely best ability stack per position

I would agree with this if youre trying to be competitive.
With how high you need for +2 speed and ability caps, its much harder to go. And even with the all TT on and all the cards those get the +2 speed is negligible.

Especially with the sugar rush stray giving 2 speed anyway and most players having 98-99 speed a 50-50 tt isn’t the best option. I will however keep my 50/50 Cards Tt cuz I don’t care about meta anymore and just wanna have fun with my fav players

Exactly what it comes down to. And at 93+ speed you're really not going to notice THAT much of a difference.

I have given up 100% tt. Still have 45/50 chem just filled a bunch of spots with good players. I want to have fun but also not get my butt kicked in by an aka edge rusher on my 93 rg.
