MUT on PC

Hi, this is my first year on MUT and i'm fully hooked, BUT the PC not having next gen abilities/ a very shallow player pool has been a drag later in the year. I can never find cards on the AH, then everything is 25%-30% more expensive when you do find it, and most bothersome of all is the couple of glitches that, to my understanding have been in place for multiple years. It genuinely seems like EA does not want people on PC to enjoy madden. I really hope they address these things as there is a HUGE playerbase on PC that im sure would love to have a solid NFL game to enjoy, otherwise i cant see myself getting into 24, not spending $500 on a console that will run worse than my PC to play madden

I’m on PC too and you kind of get used to it. As for player prices, it‘S the same for all PC players  so at least you’re not at a disadvantage. But yes, it still sucks. Are you using DSWwindows?

I'm plugged into my PC directly with an Xbox controller, I am interested in the competitive side of Madden, I watch comps on twitch, was paying attention to MCS and would really like to get into that, but sadly I cannot as I am years behind when it comes to the next gen movement and a year behind when it comes to freeform. It just baffles me they gate that for so long. Not to mention I don't even attempt PAT or FG due to the blocked kick glitch. Have also lost 3 SBs to the DeSync glitch this year

Madden on PC isn't worth it.

The player base is too small and the return on their investment isn't there.

EA would also have to deal with the expense of "protecting" the game against modders. All it takes is a mod that updates rosters and uniforms and that costs EA sales.

Sports games and consoles are tied together with each side profiting off the other. It's why sports games that start on modern day PCs lose their luster once they add console releases and have to follow their restrictions. COUGH COUGH Golf Club COUGH COUGH.

As far as modding goes, that would be a problem for a small indie gaming company that couldn't afford an anticheat, for EA that is chump change though. I would argue the player base is small because they haven't offered a quality product. There's more users on steam than both consoles combined, so the market is there. As it is, only the hardcore NFL fans are on Madden on PC due to its horrible management, how hard would it be to patch the PAT/FG glitch? not at all. Add the Next gen features? piece of cake. The only thing I can think of is contracts with Sony/Microsoft to incentivize console purchases. im not sure what their profit models show but LITERALLY every one of my friends i grew up gaming on consoles with(im 25) is on PC now there's no way that market is left virtually untapped to 'protect the game'

Not to mention the large number of players who would never touch a console again if Madden was playable on PC
