Just trying to get people to buy packs for GT. They want everyone to have to level up. Another win for whales that can afford to turn over their entire team quickly.

I believe he’s thinking the GTs will have two AP buckets, so this change makes them even more desirable - so more expensive.

game has been dead for months so this doesnt change anything really

this just makes gamechanger players go so much up in price

They are probably going to release multiple zero ap bucket players soon so they decreased the ap limit to put a premium on the new players, devalue the old ones and increase their $$$$$ near the end of the program. It sucks but think that may be their reasoning.

Well at most you can get 4. If you didnt play during then you can only have 1 token so it wont make too big a change.

I’ve figured out how to keep my core set up on offense, just need a 0 ap secure protector at center

defense… i have no clue. This hurts defense way more than offensive

Defense for sure is gonna hurt because I have a feeling people will build on offense around an aka X factor since we only have 6 AP and it’ll be super hard to stop in defense with 6 total on D

I like the change! Hopefully it stays this way into next madden, makes the game better since you can use cards for there stats and not their abilities.

Just look at the price of Rodgers after this announcement. They are trying to make the majority of current 99s obsolete in an effort to increase spend at the end of the game. It makes sense from a revenue perspective. This is not a problem for anyone sitting on millions.
