Any recommendations to stop gun tight. I just cant seem to stop it. Any help is appreciated!

Hardest in the game. Reposition cb to play outside shade or run cover 4 out of nickel 33

I'm typically guessing pass, shading outside using:

  • CB1 Deion (2AP) - PA + x3 Route KO (Short, Mid & Deep)
  • CB2 Patrick Peterson (4AP) - PA, OSA + Mid & Deep Route KO
  • Slot1 Cromartie (2AP) - PA, Inside Shade + Deep Route KO
  • Slot2 NTL (0AP) - PA

Oh, plus my Safeties, either Cover 1/2 Man so try to have deep help in both corners. 

It's been pretty good, adjustments are everything. Even then, there's still certain plays that just torch the Man defenders, it's not unheard of for me to have three trailing defenders literally tripping over one another chasing 1 play touchdowns. It's still EA after all.

Anyway, might make sense to swap out NTL for 1AP Outside Shade in place of Cromartie, I'm kind of more set up for the in between numbers passing game. If I keep struggling against deep breaking corner routes, I may put the AP back into NTL. Good luck, that's one fierce formation. Getting pressure always helps, of course, but I'm typically only rushing 4, maybe 5 tops unless rare circumstances. YMMV. 🏈🏆🔥

This PA Slot Cross is what's cooking me to the deep corners, kids just spam it every single play. It absolutely torches Man, I've tried adjusting over top and outside, still have two DBs trailing by 3 steps.
