Questions on how the Seasons, XP and Levels work

Just want to preface this by saying this isn't a rant, I am just trying to understand how Seasons, XP and Levels work since I started late.  

I started later in Season 2, just after Christmas.  To Level up I played most of the challenges that were out there already which offered descent rewards.  Now for Season 2, I am going back and playing the rest of the challenges just for the xp.  I will run out of those probably by the end of this season.  I heard you can't go back and play the same challenges, (a way to combat the kick the field goal method of prior years) as you will no longer earn xp after the 4th time or so.  I had read you get full xp the first time, half the second, quarter the third and none going forward (or something to this affect), but not sure if this is true.   If this is the case, does this reset per season?  Can I go back through the challenges every season and still get full xp?  Can I play them at different star levels and get the full xp?  If anyone can point me to an article or explain this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Since we only got a 96 PUP this season, I am guessing there are at least 2 more seasons, maybe even 3.  Assuming we can't replay challenges for xp and there are only a few programs left, how are we supposed to progress 50 levels per season with no new (unplayed) content to play?  I am a complete offline player, so playing online is not an option for me for any game, not just this one.  I know there are a ton of other players that don't play online as well so we are all in the same boat.

I do play solo battles too, I should have mentioned that.  I don't think playing 13 solo battles a week will get you to level 50 if that is all you do in a week, before the season expires.  But I could be wrong.

My best advice is, if you don’t play online, just dont worry about the levels. There’s not really many decent rewards anyway… and honestly what’s the point of having your team maxed out to the gills if you’re not playing competitively online? 
 

you are at an advantage by being an off-line player. you can enjoy the subtlety of simply playing the game without having to chase progress markers and keep up with constantly retaining the best cards in the game!

SBs count towards the daily objective list. 2 SBs a day to finish the list and get 2000 extra XP

I appreciate the advice but the fun for me is collecting cards, team building and my OCD wants me to complete all the challenges and max out my team.  I have a Cowboys TT, but there are some non-Cowboy players that I have liked through history that I like to add on my team.   As on offline game player, I should have the ability to reach max levels just as any online player, maybe not as fast.  In prior Maddens, I only had to jump 10 levels per season/(forgot what they were called in the past) after the first one.  Just not sure how this 50 per season is going to work out in later seasons.

Since there are only 13, that still leaves you one SB short to complete a week.  Also, if you only do SB's weekly, will that get you to level 50 before the season ends?  One more question, does the level you play on in the SB affect how many XP you get for that SB?

Haha.  Yeah probably.  I really just wanted to understand how they are doing it this year and someone confirmed that xp doesn't reset per season and it does go down in value if you repeat the same challenge.
