It’s fair to assume that everyone was expecting Team Diamonds 2 to consist of former players like it has been for all previous iterations. Now that they’re current, is it safe to assume that this is the replacement for Team Champions and we won’t be getting them this year?

we still have 1 token until the team captains are 99... seems like theres one more team affinity type promo coming at some point. maybe team mvps of players that were actually really good on their teams and not terrible players like a lot of the players in TD2.
