WHOA, "best card in the game" eh? Hot damn, i waffled most of yesterday before finally settling on Flash as my AKA BND freebie reward, ultimately will (hopefully) sell Gus once the hype dies down and market stops being flooded, but this is a pretty fierce statement.
I cannot disagree, but have only used Flash for an evening after a week+ with Gus as my workhorse on 49ers 50/50 TT. Zero regrets, especially if you (as many/most of us do) run pass heavy game, Flash seems to catch the ball nearly as well as receivers. And i'm running Randy, Jerry & OBJ with full 49ers team chem bonuses. He feels SUPER high end.
He's definitely different than Gus, not as top heavy, certainly more agile and DEF a better pass catcher, heck i think he catches the ball better than CMC (although i've only had Flash just 1 evening). Flash also gets the sweet fast juke move, such as CMC, maybe Pollard, etc. I don't think I'd be very good with Barry Sanders, as he requires legit stick skills, or so that's how it appears to me, but initial day 1 impressions with Flash are very positive. I've heard other folks also calling him potentially the best card in the game. I think that's Maniac, but what the heck do i know. Offense gets all the love, heh.

Flash is the best card on offense imo unless you run every play then its Gus or Quad. But for a balanced to pass heavy player like myself he is crazy good, especially on a tt. He seems to break multiple tackles a run if you get hit at the line and then downfield too unlike the freight train backs in my experience.
For me the flash is great, he jumped over 2 people at the same time.

I don't know if my ranking scale is all of of whack, or what, but i was slightly disappointed with Gus, felt liek almost exactly as you stated just now, after the initial hit, Gus the "bus" (not to be confused with Jerome Bettis, the actual Bus) would just flop... each and every single time, with a few random exceptions. I started to think it was me doing something wrong, or perhaps i was expecting more Quadfather type experience, i'm not sure what my initial thoughts were that caused a rather negative reaction. He grew on me over the past week+ as i leaned on him heavily and have essentially removed CMC from the roster spot these days, might auction him.
Flash, on the other hand, woot-woo! I felt liek a kid in a candy shop late last evening when i finally was able to dive into some H2H and new college OT game mode. Still have yet to successfully rumble my way to a 10 point TD (in the limited OT mode), but i'm hopeful that will change very soon. Starting the game with a couple runs up the gut, then feign a third down rush attempt and throwing to the sidelines has been a wonderful experience for me. Delanie Walker broke a few wide open last night, having multiple 99 Speed tight ends is quite nice... about time we add Vernon Davis to the ole 49ers theme team, his price has been steep... but hard to overstate how good it is to have a legit dual threat in the backfield, makes for all sorts of interesting scenarios. I could start passing out of heavy sets.

Yeah having flash back has been amazing. His 94 balled on my tt for a long time so this is a great upgrade. And he's very endgame now.

I picked him up today. He doesn’t break head on tackles like gus, but side tackles he shrugs off and doesn’t lose much momentum it’s pretty nice
