ive used all of the best qb’s MUT 23 has had to offer us.  I understand the different releases. pros and cons. The ability stacks (God stack) and associated AP costs. etc etc

if your scheme has a considerable amount  of option or PA plays then Vick is obviously your guy. But after sitting here thinking about all the different qbs released recently and all the hype about Justin Herbert…I can’t help but raise the question of why Tom Brady’s 99 tribute card isnt even talked about anymore. in fact I’ve seen a lot of people straight disrespect it. “the release the release” blah blah blah. With gunslinger baked in the  release ain’t the fuckin worst and his deep ball wind up is way better than slinger 1’s.

tell me who comes stock that has attributes like that? Nobody. So are people just hatin for no reason or is the fact of the matter that there’s not that much of a notable difference/improvement once these attributes his a certain threshold? is 98 or 99 pass accuracy short mid or deep basically the same as someone who has 94 or 95?

I’ve been using Brees. and he’s good. but ole TB sittin in my binder just bothers the f out of me for some reason.

It's a combination of other QBs getting ability stacks that are cheaper than Brady does (like The God Stack costing 3 AP on Herbert vs 5 AP on Brady I believe), the fact that there is not a noticeable difference in stats after the thresholds are met, and user preference. The release as you said does not matter thanks to free Gunslinger.
