UL chem confusion

So I bought 6 97 over UL's and gave them all the UL chem, but it looks like the chem boosts aren't about how many UL's you have like normal chems but how many you have in a certain type of player?! For instance I got LT Zimmerman and RT Anderson. It says 7 UL's are needed to activate their chems but I on only getting credit for the 2 on the online. 

If they are saying I need 7 UL's on the Online to activate the chem that benefits the Online, that is nuts. That would mean I would need a UL on all 5 lineman and 2 backups?! I can't imagine having 97s as backups is this an error? Can anyone explain this?

Yep, pretty sure you are understanding how these chems will work. They are pointless right now because there aren’t enough available in any specific position group to activate the boosts.
