I want Lamar so bad but I think the ravens will just franchise tag him. Does anyone think there’s a chance he goes to free agency? Would be an unbelievable pickup for the falcons

Yeah a secondary helps but that can be fixed in the draft as well there’s no one in the falcons range that they would take over ridder because ridder already has a year on those guys so he’s gonna be a better play out of the gate and the secondary class is pretty good this year

Ravens fan here. I think the Ravens should trade Lamar, but if they do, I think the Texans and Colts have more capital than the Falcons.
To the other Ravens fans: this century, no QB with a cap hit of more than 15% of the cap has ever won the Super Bowl. Mahomes is at 17% so he might break this trend but won't change my opinion.

Lamar is not going through all of these contract negotiations just to be traded to the Texans or colts. The falcons are a way more attractive team for a quarterback like Lamar because they have good receivers and solid o line and run game. I just dont see Lamar sitting out a playoff game to then go and play for a team that is a massive downgrade like the Texans or colts.

the ravens have also not given Lamar the tools to succeed his whole career, I mean Lamar was throwing to andrews and then it was demarcus Robinson and Sammy Watkins corpse at wide reciever.
