I understand the mut.gg is way better than muthead but what happened to it? How did it get so irrelevent?

I think it was due to mut.gg being new and it had a new feel. Plus mut.gg got my man Wizzle no one can compete with the write ups he has

Muthead does have one single thing on mut.gg and that's the compare feature. 

I can put in up to like 6 people and see the stats more clear than the compare feature here.

I agree with this. But this is about it...

Many things changed, beginning with the website over hall. They lost Clans, rank, etc.. The new layout decreased activity immediately. I ran a clan that got pretty big and very active. After the change, there was very little activity and it never recovered. Overall, the community had solid members, but they couldn't keep everyone happy. 

Mut.gg has replaced Muthead for me. I'd like to see them add clans and other things that promote engagement, but they are doing so many great things already. This is my go-to site for everything MUT now.

Not to mention the front page was rarely updated.  I believe TOTW Jefferson sat on the front page until earlier this week.  They have been on a downward spiral for awhile.

I can attest to this - I was in that clan :)

Yes you were! Marty was one of the first names I recognized when I started using Mut.gg. He's a great member and enjoyed having him in the clan. Our clan was JFF (Just For Fun). I play this game to relax and I like interacting with people that have the same view of the game.

54 years young and still playing , BB. I'll be around football for the rest of my life I think. 

Was a nice clan and I wish everyone on that site was like our clan ,  but that site overall became seriously toxic and the great members there like Rocketz, Legend, etc. started this site and made it the best MUT/Madden site around.

Muthead was sold to fandom by "some people" and fandom looked at it and just laughed. Haven't touched it in years, so it cannot be updated.
