Do squads still get bonuses from other team? Advice much appreciated

If he has 50 broncos and i have one - do i get two speed?

It used to work like this yes. I’m not 100% sure it does in 22, but it should

I have to assume it would work the same, but in squads you have to remember that you are using 1 team's O and another team's D, so unless you BOTH have 25 Broncos on each side of the ball, you aren't getting that boost.

No you would both get plus 1 speed if you're totaling 25 Broncos between the O and D. You would have to total 50 broncos between the O and D to both share plus 2 speed. His plus 2 speed from 50 broncos in his lineup doesnt affect you once joining a squad lobby. Kickers and punters count for the offensive side in squads.
