I've been picking an offensive play and running it against different defenses and writing down how it plays against each defense for instance I might run Trips TE slot wing against BNOG cover 3 sky, cover 3 seam, cover 3 buzz seam, cover 2,cover 4 psalms, cover 4 quarters and mcv. It definitely gives you a different perspective on how zones can play and can be helpful but it sucks we can't make defensive adjustments like pressing or shading. I'm on old gen,I know on new gen you can use two controllers but you can't on old. Its still helpful though and I love mut practice mode even though its a little overrated. Its also a good place to test out a formations different packages and getting your wr's to be lined up based on their routes and abilities and being able to maximize them with each different play. Making sure Moss and his DOE is running a deep route while Marvin is running a medium route with his MIE. Any tips for practice mode in mut and having plays go against different types of defenses?
i use it to test playbooks the most. When training was cheap, i got every o and d playbook, and have been cycling through their formations to find underrated/fun ones to use. just keep mixing up ur defensive playbooks, cuz ull never know what the opponent is using, and find the offense that fits u best, and stick with that 1
