I don't know if this is the correct place to put this but anyway, I woke up today and my account was banned. The email said I was banned for "Match Cheating". Two of my friends also got banned at the same time for the same thing, we play squads together, so I don't know if that has any correlation but yeah. If anyone knows what I can do to try to get unbanned that'd be great. I've emailed EA Help and as far I know, I haven't done anything ban-worthy; no coin buying, freezing games, etc. Let me know if anyone knows anything I can do.

Idk how you’d be able to do that, unless ur rigging matches to play against easy teams for xp but I don’t see a way how to do it

It’s when you’re down 30 points in Squads, taking a big fat juicy medium rare cooked loss. Then, you and your buddies with approximately 18 seconds left in the game all disconnect and leave one person in the game to freeze the screen. Then that one shmuck of a human being sits there and messages the other team while they’re down 30 “help, I’m stuck in the game, and it won’t end!”
Now to me someone down 30 and has a game frozen and sits there for 40 minutes instead of dashboarding, instead waiting out the others to quit, sounds a lot like “Match Cheating”.

Did you ever get unbanned? Same thing happend to me and my buddy 3 days ago

Sounds like a lot of people are getting effected I’m sure if you haven’t already you will probably get unbanned and get compensation from ea as well.

Absolutely it happens. I’ve gotten hit with it 2x since Christmas and it’s only when I’m up by a significant amount, and there’s less than 10 seconds left in the game. 2 people quit, then the 3rd stays on and somehow freezes it then messages acting like they’re stuck and can’t quit.

The only thing that I can think of is to contact EA help, but it sounds like you have already done that. I wish you the best of luck in getting unbanned!
